Andy graduated from Pella High School in 2000. His undergraduate education was at the University of Northern Iowa, where he majored in History with a minor in Political Science/Law. From there he attended the University of Iowa where he received his Law Degree and his MBA degree through a joint degree program. After law school Andy began work at Baker, Johnsen and Sandblom and was admitted to the Iowa Bar in September 2008.
Andy's wife Katy is currently teaching at Phillips Middle School in Fort Dodge, Iowa. In his free time Andy enjoys sports, triathlons, fishing and hiking and is an avid Hawkeye fan.
